Architecture Flatiron Building

Build a multi-faceted model of the Flatiron Building, the most striking of New York's early skyscrapers, from LEGO® bricks. Originally called the "Fuller Building", it was erected on a triangular plot between Broadway, Fifth Avenue and East 22nd Street and, with its 20 storeys, was the tallest building in the city when completed in 1902. Three years later a penthouse - and thus one more floor - was added on top. The nickname New Yorkers gave the tower was later officially adopted. The "Flatiron Building" (clothes iron building) has since been officially recognised as a National Historic Landmark.
