London Bus

This charming London bus is a tribute to legendary design. The double-decker bus is full of authentic details such as the bright red paintwork, the panoramic windscreen, the specially made tread tyres, the destination sign and the open rear entrance with grab pole, a bin for used tickets, a fire extinguisher and a half-spiral staircase to the upper deck. Features include a hinged bonnet with engine and a detailed driver's cab with sliding door. The roof and upper deck can be removed to give access to the detailed lower deck. There you'll find worn seats and further authentic details such as left-behind items: an umbrella, a newspaper, an empty drink can and a discarded piece of chewing gum. Double-sided advertising posters in 1950s style or advertising today's London are included as printed stickers. This LEGO® Creator Expert model was designed to offer a challenging and rewarding building experience – and to spread a touch of nostalgia and charm.
