Taj Mahal

Build and discover the Taj Mahal! This huge mausoleum of ivory-white marble is considered one of the greatest architectural wonders of the world. The Mughal emperor Shah Jahan had it built in 1631 in memory of his beloved late wife Mumtaz Mahal. This LEGO® Creator Expert interpretation, released in 2008, recreates all 4 facades of the building with its distinctive curved gables, balconies and arched windows. The central dome, the domed side chambers and the surrounding minarets are decorated with ornamental finials. The raised platform is lined with recessed gables. The elaborate decorative elements across the entire model, plus the tiles around the base, add the finishing touches. With over 5,900 pieces, this set offers a rewarding building experience and makes a magnificent display piece for the living room or office.
