Overview

NASA Artemis SLS Heavy-Lift Rocket. Everything you need to know about the set.

The NASA Artemis SLS Heavy-Lift Rocket (42221) is a building set that sends boys and girls aged 9 and up on an exciting voyage of discovery. This LEGO® Technic educational set recreates the moment of rocket launch and the targeted separation of the rocket parts in 3 stages. Then watch how the upper stage separates with the propulsion module, the Orion spacecraft and the launch abort rocket. This building set was developed in collaboration with NASA and ESA to let kids explore the Space Launch System, which will send the Orion spacecraft into lunar orbit. 4 astronaut nano figures, cool blue flame elements and an information board complete the spectacular eye-catcher. This LEGO Technic set is a great gift for space fans. The LEGO Builder app, with easy-to-follow digital building instructions, lets kids build with confidence, enlarge and rotate 3D model views and track their progress. The set consists of 632 pieces.
